<p>Silica is incorporated (e.g. in amt. >=40%) into an elastomer (e.g. SBR) using as catalyst an association of benzoyl peroxide and utanox A-R. The elastomer obtd. has good elasticity, ageing props. and heat resistance. Also claimed is the possibility of the use of an elastomer or of a resin contg. incorporated reactants, maintained in finely divided suspension, as a non participating recipient but necessary to the reaction.</p> |
