PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ratB polypeptide, a DNA (RNA) encoding the polypeptide, a method for producing the polypeptide by the recombination method, and a method for using the polypeptide for screening an antibacterial compound. SOLUTION: A polypeptide including an amino acid sequence having a homology value of 70% or more to a specific amino acid sequence derived from Chlamydia trachomatis and a polynucleotide having a homology value of 70% or more to a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide including the amino acid sequence are provided. |
