PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member for transfer, which prevents abrasion from being caused when a data storage cartridge is inserted into a case of and automatically slips from an access hole, when removing from the case. SOLUTION: When the fixing member or the transfer is inserted into the access hole provided in a lower half of the case against force of a spring of a reel brake, a tape reel is pressed against an inner wall of a cover plate of the case, so as to prevent a reel flange from being damaged while transferring. A cartridge laminated body is packed and transferred in a state in which the fixing member is inserted into the access hole. When the cartridge laminated body is unpacked, the fixing member automatically slips from the access hole.
