PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging apparatus providing little occurrence of crack, and a complex forging equipment incorporating the forging apparatus. SOLUTION: Roles of a punch 95 and a punch pin 96 that form an upper die are properly distributed. The punch pin 96 slidably inserted into a guide wall 951 of the punch 95 has a tapered face 97 formed in the center of its upper face. A tapered face 98 that has a steeper bevel angle than that of the tapered face 97 is formed on the punch 95. Accordingly, the punch pin 96 is made to have a relatively smaller diameter. The tapered face 98 of the punch 95 has a role to form a preliminary formed portion. This enables the die to form a hollow, cylindrical product having a flange without occurrence of crack.
