PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an imaging apparatus in which a stabilized image can be formed even if the detection voltage of a transfer sheet is lowered due to lowering in the quantity of light of an illumination LED in a position sensor through aging by determining the imaging position accurately depending on the passing position of the transfer sheet. SOLUTION: The digital imaging apparatus comprising a section 130 for writing in supplied image data as an image being formed on a photosensitive body 51, a sensor 220 for detecting the passing position of a transfer sheet p in the main scanning direction, and means 110 for controlling the writing position of the writing section 130 based on passing position information is further provided with a reference chart 270 allowing retreat from a reference position, means for reading and operating output signals from the position sensor 220, and means for feeding back the threshold value of a comparator 240. |
