METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ARTIFICIAL MARBLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial marble capable of stably expressing a pattern by a simple method and having high strength and to perform work without directly touching a fiber sheet with the hand. SOLUTION: A laminate 4 for a pattern material is formed by laminating a pattern material molding thin plate 4a, which comprises a mixture of a resin compound 2 and the pattern material 3, on the fiber sheet 1 such as a glass mat, a nonwoven fabric or the like. The laminate 4 for the pattern material is set to a lower mold 5a in such a state that the fiber sheet 1 is turned upwardly. After an upper mold 5b is clamped, a resin compound 6 is injected in the mold 5 to manufacture the artificial marble.
