PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing net whose shaft can compactly be shortened to a length for being encased when it is stored and yet can quickly be extended. SOLUTION: This landing net is composed of a shaft section 2 comprising four members of a first pipe-shaped member 11 to a fourth pipe-shaped member 14 which are so arranged that the top side member is coupled to the bottom side member in turn so as to be stored therein in such a manner so as to be shaken out therefrom, a pipe-stopper 20 attached to the bottom end of the fourth pipe-shaped member 14 which is positioned on the bottommost side of the shaft section 2, a net-frame 1 which is coupled to the top end of the shaft section 2 so as to be freely removal, and a bottom grip 3 which is coupled to the bottom end of the shaft section 2 and has a longitudinal length of a third to tow thirds of the longitudinal length of each of the pipe-like members coupled in the manner to be shaken out, wherein the pipe-stopper 20 has bored hole(s) 20a which is longitudinally bored and has a diameter smaller than that of the third pipe-shaped member 13 coupled to the top end of the fourth pipe- shaped member 14.
