PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency snare wire that can rapidly be applied to a polyp, or the like, for easier resection thereof even when its approach is tangentially made. SOLUTION: A snare wire 5 whose freely available protrusion from and back into a tip of a sheath 2 is loop-shaped by an elastic wire and made into a cubic shape at a mid-portion of the wire between the tip and basic edge of the above snare wire 5 whose loop portion at the tip inclines toward the above snare loop when the above wire portion is drawn into the sheath 2. |
