REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rear differential carrier support structure for an automobile which can reduce a gear noise and a booming noise inside the automobile. SOLUTION: A differential member front body 11 extending in the automobile width direction at a front position of the rear differential carrier 1 and a bracket 21 supporting the front part 2 of the rear differential carrier 1 by extending toward a rear of the automobile body from the central part of the automobile width direction of the differential member front body 11 are constituted individually, and a differential member front 10 is constituted by connecting each other by interposing the third elastic bush 30. By this, the noises such as the gear noise and the booming noise or the like inside the automobile are reduced in such a manner that vibration or the like such as the gear noise or the like inside the rear differential carrier 1 is sufficiently relaxed by making mass of a member supported by the elastic bush small and setting a total spring constant of springs of the elastic bush low.
