PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder resin coating method capable of forming a thin and uniform coating layer even if an article is a porous molded one, having good workability and capable of simplifying a process, to provide a barrel polishing method and a product made by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A gas jet means for ejecting compressed air from a jet orifice 8 and an exhaust means for discharging air from discharge ports 5 and 5 are provided to the barrel polishing apparatus 1. At the time of production, media 11 and a porous work 10 are put in a barrel 2 and both of a compressed air supply valve 9 and a compressed air exhaust valve 7 are opened to start the apparatus 1. After a predetermined time is elapsed, both the supply valve 9 and the exhaust valve 7 are closed to additionally supply a powder resin 12 into the barrel 2. Only the supply valve 9 is opened to start the apparatus 1 and, after a predetermined time is elapsed, the exhaust valve 7 is opened. After a predetermined time is further elapsed, the apparatus 1 is stopped and the work 10 is taken out of the barrel 2 to be transferred to a hot drying oven and thermally dried to cure the powder resin 12 on the surface of the work 10. |
