PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder arranging discharged paper loaded in a discharge stacker to be realized by a simple structure with no necessity for complicated operation even with a paper size different. SOLUTION: A common paper guide 119 is movably mounted in a paper cassette 110, to abut to an end part of paper 117 loaded in the paper cassette 110 and a paper discharge stacker 118. When the paper cassette 110 is replaced with the paper 117 of different paper size, by moving the common paper guide 119 so as to make it abut to the end part of this paper 117, the common paper guide 119 is moved to a position abutting to the end part of the paper 117 loaded in the paper discharge stacker 118. In this way, movement of the paper 117 loaded in the paper discharge stacker 118 is regulated, the paper can be arranged.
