PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper holder which enables the cutting of the paper simply and accurately by allowing a user to catch the tip of the paper very simply. SOLUTION: A cutting piece 2 comprising a circular arc-shaped long plate with a corrugated protrusion 3 at the tip of the cover 10 is made freely turnably by inserting each one end of stop rings 8 into through holes 4b of cutting piece- holding pieces 4 each having a stopper and link anchors 5 respectively fastened at both ends of the front of the cutting piece 2. A floating pipe 9 is rotatably supported on the other ends of the stop rings 8 and a leaf spring pressing piece 6 is fastened at an intermediate point between the link anchors 5 juxtaposed. A leaf spring 7 and a leaf spring fixing piece 7a are mounted at the central part of the front of the cover. A roll paper takeoff piece 17 is placed on the floating pipe 9 and put down vertically to press and cut off the roll paper takeoff piece 17 with the cutting piece 2.
