AUXILIARY TRANSFER MEMBER OF FOAMED PARTICLES

PURPOSE: An auxiliary transfer member of foamed particles is provided to prevent the defective molding by filling foamed particles uniformly in proper density in a mold at the time of manufacturing an in-mold foam molded body. CONSTITUTION: A foamed particle filling machine(1) with a compressed air jet outlet(4) is installed on a foamed particle inlet(6) of a mold(5). Compressed air is ejected out of the compressed air jet outlet, and compressed air heading for a foamed particle feed opening(3) is introduced to introduce foamed particles into the mold through the foamed particle feed opening. When the foamed particles are charged in the mold, the feeding of compressed air from a compressed air exhaust outlet(11) into a pipe(10) is discontinued. A piston(2) of the filling machine is moved forward while continuously ejecting the compressed air out of the compressed air jet outlet to close the foamed particle inlet of the mold to complete the filling of the foamed particles into the mold.
