The set of insulating plates (9) is for forming a roof covering. It comprises parallelopiped and rectangular plates, with a body of concrete and reinforcements of milled steel, together with a lightening block (4) embedded in polystyrene (3). A flat support base is provided as is an upper support, grooved in one of them and smooth in the other. A formation of anchoring devices is provided for the optional subjection of the covering plates for regular symmetrical imbrication. Also provided are beveled end overlaps, forming incisions for drainage purposes.
