PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally constitute a device capable of acquiring the image information of photographic film as digital image information in a short time with simple operation. SOLUTION: The leading edge of the film 1 is automatically taken out from a film magazine M set in the magazine holding part D of a film supply part AF, and the film 1 fed from the holding part D is fed to a scanner AS and coated with developer in a developer coating part L. Silver particles appearing in the emulsion of the film 1 by the action of the developer after such coating are optically acquired as the image information by a main image pickup unit Pa and a sub image pickup unit Pb.
