<p>The invention relates to a plant for treating waste water, especially attending small isolated communities, said plant comprising a pretreatment and clarification device (1) followed by a biological purification stage (13) and a suction well (17). To the purpose of simplifying the construction, the biological purification stage (13) is provided in its upstream part with a supply pipe (6) connected to the pretreatment and clarification device (1), several filters (25, 26, 27 and 28) made of a fibre felting stacked one upon the other under said pipe (6), said filters being followed by a two-layered sand bed (29 and 30) and by an active carbon filter (42) placed upstream the discharge pipe (15) connected with a suction well (17). In the area under the discharge opening of the supply pipe (6), the first filter (25) is covered by a protective plate (35) preferably a concrete plate. The gaps (39) between the filters (25, 26, 27 and 28) are ventilated.</p> |
