PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise processor that does not need a specific machine dedicated for fetching printed information. SOLUTION: This merchandise processor is provided with a controlling means for making a merchandise processing means perform prescribed processing and an image pickup device 2 for imaging merchandise, and utilizes the imaged information of the imaged merchandise at the time of performing prescribed processing of the merchandise. The merchandise processor is further provided with a merchandise processing mode in which the image pickup device 2 images the merchandise for the merchandise processing and a fetching mode in which the image pickup device 2 picks up printed information and fetches the printed information to the controlling means. |
