PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct pattern forming planographic printing plate having good image reproducibility and good plate inspectability. SOLUTION: The original plate of the direct pattern forming planographic printing plate has at least a heat sensitive layer and an ink-repellent layer in this order on a substrate and a dye is contained in the ink-repellent layer.
