<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element, capable of taking out light with good efficiency from a positive electrode (pixel electrode), formed on a semiconductor base board and enabling proper voltage impression drive. SOLUTION: In this organic electroluminescence element 20, having a semiconductor base board 21, a transistor 22, an insulation layer 23, the positive electrode 25 connected to the transistor 22 through a contact hole 24 formed in the insulating layer 23, an organic electroluminescence film 26, and a negative electrode 27 are formed sequentially on the semiconductor base board 21, and light, emitted from the organic electroluminescence film 26, is extracted from the negative electrode 27 side. The positive electrode 25 is constructed of a first conductor layer 25a, having high light reflectance and a second conductor layer 25b which has a high work function value and high light transmittance.</p> |
