PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a wide joining area between a protector and a base member by preventing an excess adhesive from swelling out around the protector not only when an applying quantity of the adhesive for joining the protector to the base member is proper but also when it is a little more than a proper quantity, in an optical pickup. SOLUTION: The place where the projection 6 of the protector 3 is fitted into the recessed part 5 of the base member 1 and the place where the superposing surface 8 of the protector 3 is superposed on the outer surface 7 of the base member 1 are bonded by the adhesive M. The bonded area is increased by providing a hole part 91, a recessed groove 92 and an empty part 94 in the projection 6 and also the protector 3 is prevented from detaching by an anchor action of the adhesive M. |
