PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining a desired image by preventing the damage of a recording medium, the deviation of the recording medium, the rubbing of an image and the springing phenomenon of the rear end of the recording medium. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a humidity sensor 36 for detecting humidity in the image forming device and a controller for controlling the rotational speed of a fixing roller 32 based on a detection signal from the sensor 36. By rotating the roller 32 at 1st speed lower than processing speed in the case of separating the recording medium from a transfer device 29 based on control by the controller, the loop of the recording medium is formed before the roller 32. After the lapse of specified time corresponding to the detection signal from the sensor 36, the roller 32 is rotated at the 2nd speed higher than the processing speed by switching the speed of the roller 32 to the 2nd speed. |
