PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication equipment which enables reduction in time required for data transmission by simultaneous reception and transmission of data using multiple channels, and to provide a radio communication system using the same. SOLUTION: The radio communication equipment comprises a transmission section, which transmits data through at least one frequency channel; and a controller which finds out the number of channels available for communication of relative radio communication equipment that the radio communication equipment is trying to establish communication with, and then controls data transmission so that the data will be transmitted via the transmission section, using the perceived number of channels available for communication of the relative radio communication equipment.
