PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with maintenance works which form a vacuum by connecting a vacuum pump to a vacuum envelope from external, even if a long-time operation is carried out, thereby decreasing operational costs. SOLUTION: With an arrangement of a radio receiver, a disclosed radio receiver has a signal processing part containing a reception band-pass filter 2 for processing a received signal and exhausting a gas on age basis and a reception low noise amplifier 3, and this signal processing part is cooled by a cooling means 6. The radio receiver comprises an airtight envelope 10, which seals in a vacuum the reception band-pass filter 2 and the reception low-noise amplifier 3, so as to detain the gas, thereby operating as an inside sealing means; and a vacuum envelope 5 which seals the airtight envelope 10 in vacuum, so that a gap 12 between airtight envelope 10 and the vacuum envelope 5 forms a vacuum insulation layer, and operates as an outside sealing means for vacuum- insulating from the outside.
