PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and the weight of a power circuit, enhance the power conversion efficiency, and suppress noise therein. SOLUTION: A complex resonance converter is formed which is on the primary side with a voltage resonance converter with a fixed switching frequency and on the secondary side with a series resonance circuit comprising secondary winding and a secondary-side series resonance capacitor. Further, an active clamp circuit is connected in parallel with the secondary-side series resonance capacitor. Stabilization of secondary-side, direct-current output voltage is implemented by controlling the conduction angle of the active clamp circuit.
