PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid magnet DC motor which can increase the effect of hybrid structure without increase of size and cost. SOLUTION: The permanent magnets 33, 34 are disposed in contact with fixed iron cores 35, 36 so that the magnetic flux is set in the same direction as the magnetic flux of electro-magnets 31, 32. The permanent magnets 33, 34 are respectively provided with both magnetic portions 33a, 33b, 34a, 34b. In both magnetic portions 33a, 33b, 34a, 34b, the N-pole surface is provided against the extending portions 39b, 39c, 40b, 40c of the pole-core 39, 40, in contact with the external circumferential surface side of the extending portions 39b, 39c of the N-pole side, while the S-pole surface is in contact with the external circumferential surface side of the extending portions 40b, 40c.
