PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane switch of which material cost is low and productivity is good, and cost is low. SOLUTION: In the membrane switch, the film 1 comprises a base part 2 having a first contact point 6 and a tongue member part 5 that is jointed with the jointing part 4 by this base part 2 and formed by providing a slit 3 surrounding a second contact point 7, and by bending the jointing part 4, the first and second contact parts 6, 7 are made to face each other. Thereby, one sheet of film 1 can be enough and thus, compared with before, the material cost is low and a low cost membrane switch can be provided.
