<p>The waste bin (6) has a holder (1) for a roll of liner bags (3) located in the bottom of the bin and drawn to the top as they are used. The roll holder consists of a rod (2) with springs (5, 7) fitted into lateral supports (8, 9) on a base fixed to the bottom of the bin. It can be made as part of the bin or as an insert for an existing bin, and the spaces on either side of the bag roll can be used for spare rolls (4). As each bag is filled it is pulled to the top of the bin and torn from the roll, leaving the next bag ready for use. In variants of the design the roll holder can be located under a partition in the bottom of the bin with an opening flap, or in a recess at one side.</p> |
