PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a watertight cross-linked polyethylene insulated cable that has a good water-tightness and is superior in peeling by a silane cross- linking method. SOLUTION: By selecting a resin composite having a 100% modulus of 0.6 MPa or more and 2.7 MPa or less as a watertight material, it is pressed-fitted from the outside of the stranded wire conductor, and the polyethylene added with silane cross-linking agent is extrusion coated. And the extrusion coated polyethylene is cross-linked with silane in the condition of the temperature difference (melting point of the selected watertight material - cross-linking temperature) higher than 0 deg.C but lower than 30 deg.C, and the cross-linking temperature of 60 deg.C or higher.
