PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a power storage system which can minimize an electricity bill as a whole, for operating the power storage system, by comparing an electricity bill prepared by a power supplier with a power load condition which a customer requires. SOLUTION: This operation method of utility the storage system is installed at a customer side for controlling power purchased by the customer by conrolling charge and discharge. The operating pattern of the charge and discharge of the power storage system has previously been programmed and the operation of the power storage system can be controlled based on a programmed operating pattern.
