PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operation vibration and noise, etc., generated in a mechanical deck from being transmitted to an outer case side at the time of recording and/or reproduction. SOLUTION: This disk recording and/or reproducing device is provided with the mechanical deck 201 comprising a disk housing part for which disk mounting means mounting a disk are piled up and a recording and/or reproducing part for recording and/or reproducing the disk housed in the disk housing part and an outer case 202 housing the mechanical deck 201. Between the mechanical deck 201 and the outer case 202, a buffer mechanism 203 for preventing the transmission of vibration between the mechanical deck and the outer case and a locking mechanism 204 for locking the mechanical deck 201 to the outer case 202 against the buffer action of the buffer mechanism 203 are provided.
