PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid magnet DC motor which can increase the effect of the hybrid structure without increase in size and cost. SOLUTION: The permanent magnets 33, 34 are disposed in contact with the fixed iron cores 35, 36, so that the magnetic flux is set in the same direction as the electro-magnets 31, 32. The cross-section of the end portions of the both ends extending portions 39b, 39c, 40b, 40c of the pole-cores 39, 40 are formed in the triangular shape and have the end surfaces 39d, 39e, 40d, 40e which are inclined diagonally for the diameter direction and circumferential direction and are facing to the external side of diameter direction. The N-pole surface of the permanent magnets 33, 34 is placed against t the extending portions 39b, 39c, 40d, 40c of the pole-cores 39, 40, in contact with the inclined end surfaces 39d, 39e of the extending portions 39b, 39c in the N-pole side, while the S-pole surface is brought in contact with the inclined end surfaces 40d, 40e of the extending portions 40b, 40c of the S-pole side.
