PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital receiver, which can compensate a signal waveform distortion to prevent absence of signal information in an AGC circuit (or an A/D converter in a latter stage) output, even if the number of use channel signal is increased. SOLUTION: In a digital receiver, a plurality of received channel signals are led to an A/D converter via a filter and an AGC circuit, which can pass the plurality of channel signals, and after being converted into a digital signal, a demodulation process is carried out. A pilot signal, having a predetermined level, is added to a band outside of the filter, and this is taken out via the AGC circuit, thereby calculating the degree of amplification controlled by the AGC circuit, and further the plurality of channel signals to be input to the AGC circuit, based on the calculation information are regenerated in an output of the A/D converter.
