PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic and error tolerant method which generates a correction version of an original photograph through analysis of the subject contents of a photograph image. SOLUTION: This method is disclosed to provide photograph finishing service for an image having a main subject and a background and includes a step for generating a digital image of a photograph image of a customer, a step for generating a main subject reliability map from the digital image, a step for generating a digital image having been corrected by employing the main subject reliability map, a step for generating a print of the digital image, a step for generating a print of the corrected digital image, and a step for delivering both the prints to the customer. Here, the step for generating the digital image having been corrected by employing the main subject reliability map may include a subject emphasis step. |
