METHOD OF REPRODUCING COLOR, DIGITAL COLOR HARD COPYING DEVICE USING IT, AND PROGRAM FOR EXECUTING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reproducing color by which a color hard copy that is excellent in observation light source dependency can be obtained at the time of reproducing a color by using four or more colors of coloring materials, and to provide a digital color hard copying device using the method and a program for executing the method. SOLUTION: In the method of reproducing color, the amounts of coloring materials used are adjusted with respect to a plurality of assumed observation light sources so that the variation of a noticeable color under the light sources may become the minimum at the time of performing full color reproduction by means of the digital color hard copying device which reproduces a color by using four or more colors of coloring materials. The digital color hard copying device is provided with an adjusting function for quantities of coloring materials used applying this method and the program is used for causing a computer to execute this method.
