PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can quickly recover the state before an abnormal state when the abnormal state of the device is detected. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an image reading means B, an image data storage means G, an image recording means C and a control means E. The means E is provided with a power supply means E1, a storage job control means E2, a transfer job control means E3, a state display means E4 which indicates the information of the states of the above job control means and a job monitoring means E5 which monitors the means B and C within a certain time interval. When the means E5 detects no state change for the jobs within a certain time interval, it is judged to be in an abnormal state and controls are stopped by transmitting a stop instruction from the means E2 or the means E3 to the means B or the means C being used. |
