ELECTRONIC MARK AUTHENTICATION METHOD, AND ITS PERFORMING DEVICE AND PROCESSING PROGRAM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for realizing authentication processing by using an electronic mark issued from an electronic mark issuing administration of which the reliability is confirmed. SOLUTION: An electronic mark authentication method for authenticating the electronic mark by using the authentication information in the electronic mark comprises a step for issuing the electronic mark in which the electronic mark issuing administration or the verification information presenting effectiveness of the electronic mark is embedded from an issuing institution side device; a step in which a client side device requests an effectiveness verification device to verify the effectiveness of the verification information embedded in the electronic mark; a step for comparing the verification information requested for the effectiveness verification with the contents of a verification information expiration list presenting the expired verification information and transmitting the verification result of the effectiveness to the client side device from the effectiveness verification device; and a step for performing authentication processing of the electronic mark in which the verification information verifying the effectiveness has been embedded.
