PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a system that are effective when selection of the test mode of an information communication device to be tested is required in the house test for the information communication device comprising e.g. a central processing section, a storage section, a communication control section and a peripheral control section. SOLUTION: A mode changeover switch (30) connected to an external part of the information communication device (10) is used: to switch the operating mode of the device (10) so as to relieve the trouble of manual changeover from a test mode into an operation mode in the house test of the device; and to switch the operation mode into the test mode without the need for any special setting means to the device in order to solve inconvenience at a customer's side due to forgotten changeover.
