PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a cryostat for efficiently cooling a thermal shield near a magnetoencephalographic measurement section that is a large heat entry source without increasing the sectional area of a copper mesh, and reducing the amount of evaporation of a refrigerant. SOLUTION: The cryostat comprises an inner tank that has a body section where a sensor for inspecting an organism is installed incide and at the same time a refrigerant for cooling the sensor is filled and a cylindrical neck section connected to the body section, an outer tank that is arranged so that the inner tank is surrounded and a vacuum layer is formed at an area to the outer wall of the inner tank, a first thermal anchor that is connected to the neck section and is arranged at the vacuum layer, and a thermal shield that is connected to the first thermal anchor and is arranged at the vacuum layer. In the cryostat, a heat transport means connected to the first thermal anchor and the thermal shield is provided. |
