<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connection device and an electrical connection method having enhanced reliance on conductivity and insulating capability, by simplifying the structure of the electrical connection device to improve the mounting workability thereof. SOLUTION: By eliminating soldering of a connection element to a wire, this electrical connection device 1 with the extensible connection elements 20 energized in the extending direction mounted, is pressed from both sides in the extending direction by a pair of contact mechanisms, respectively mounted to two detachable or openable members. In a terminal board 10 of the connection device 1, through-holes 11, each having a small diameter part 13 at one end and penetrating in the thickness direction thereof are formed, and the connection elements 20 are movabley inserted there, and their coming-off is stopped by catching them with the small diameter parts 13. The connection elements 20 are pressed from both sides in the thickness direction of the terminal board 10 by the pair of contact mechanisms, having contacts 31 and 41 respectively facing the contact parts 25 and 27, on both side ends of the connection elements 20 in the thickness direction of the terminal board 10, and the two terminal parts can be electrically connected with each other.</p> |
