PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method and system for providing a user with tools and services for modeling, simulating and optimizing equipment, a unit process, a section and a factory via a communication link. SOLUTION: One or more factory data input interfaces are presented to the user. By processing factory data provided via a user interface, data for a bench mark test and a simulation model are generated. The simulation model can be an interactive type changeable one. In the case, the user can optimize the operation of a machine, the unit process, the section or the factory by investigating various kinds of techniques.
