PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image layout analysis system which can make easy and efficient the correcting operation that an operator does obtain a desired layout result. SOLUTION: This system which reads in image data and analyzes their layout is equipped with an adjustment rule storage part 8 which stores an adjustment rule for adjusting properties of a part where a correction area inputted by specifying an analyzing rule overlaps with an existent area; and an analysis processing part 2 after adjusting the properties of the part where the correction area and existent area overlap with each other according to the adjustment rule analyzes the image data in an analysis object area again according to the analyzing rule and stores the area after the analysis as an existent area in an existent area storage part 7. |
