PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of a tag information display action in an audio playback unit by arbitrarily specifying the display of each item of tag information added to music data. SOLUTION: When the playback of music data is instructed, the tag information on the music data is read (Step S2), and each item constituting the tag information is displayed in order on a display part 2 as a menu (Step S4). When a user selects one desired item from tag information items displayed as a menu, the selected menu item is inversely displayed, and the selection result is displayed (Step S5). If tag information A is selected from the items (Step S6; Yes), the tag information A is set as display data (Step S7), and is displayed on the display part 2 (Step S14).
