PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless band setting method that allows a wireless band between a wireless terminal and a wireless base station to automatically have a bandwidth of a wireless band suitable for contents and used between the wireless terminal and the wireless base station by having only to select the contents with respect to a wireless connection between the wireless terminal and the wireless base station. SOLUTION: The wireless band setting method is configured such that a server stores a plurality of contents data and wireless band information corresponding to the respective contents data and required for transmission of the contents data, transmits the required wireless band information to a wireless terminal when the wireless terminal selects contents data, the wireless terminal transmits a band revision request to the wireless base station in response to the request, the wireless base station revises the existing band to a requested band, transmits a band revision notice to the wireless terminal after the band revision of the wireless connection, the wireless terminal receiving the band revision notice transmits the band revision end notice to the server, and the server receiving the band revision end notice starts transmission of the contents data to the wireless terminal.
