PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information arrival notice system that can transmit an arrival notice to each user by taking into account a difference from each terminal used by each user. SOLUTION: Information sent from an information transmission server 1 and addressed to a user arrives in a network gateway 2 via the Internet and an arrival information reception means 31 of an arrived information handling function section 3 in the inside of the gateway 2 receives the information. After that, an arrival notice type discrimination means 32 decides the arrival notice type on the basis of the type of a terminal of the user, an arrival notice edit means 34 edits the arrival notice on the basis of the received information and the arrival notice type and an arrival notice transmission means 35 transmits the arrival notice to the terminal used by the user. The transmitted arrival notice reaches the user terminal 4 via a wireless network 200.
