PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rewrite of program data saved in a Flash-ROM in an image forming device. SOLUTION: The image forming device has a CPU for controlling image formation, a first or electrically rewritable nonvolatile memory for storing a program for the execution of the control of image formation by the CPU, a second memory for storing the program read out from the first memory and storing an execution program of the CPU, a data inputting means for externally acquiring program data to be stored in the first memory, a data accumulating means for temporarily storing all the program data acquired by the data inputting means, and a rewriting means for rewriting the first memory content as the program data read out from the data accumulating means. Furthermore, the image forming device has an operating means to operate the execution of the data inputting means and the rewriting means, and a rewrite execution controlling means to control the execution of the rewriting means according to a time and date set through the operating means. |
