<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a processor and prudently control a power for every function unit in a power saving of a semiconductor integrated circuit (system LSI) having functional units such as a processor, a memory, and a peripheral circuit. SOLUTION: An address decoder 171 analyses an address form an internal bus 20 and outputs selection signals 31-36 selecting the functional units, a power control register 172 memorizes an action mode designation and a monitor signal designation for every functional unit, a combination circuit 173 outputs a weight signal 23 when the selected functional unit is in a stopped state and generates an action state signal 51 of each functional unit, and a state register 174 memorizes it and outputs it as power control signals 41-46.</p> |
