<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system utilizing a computer for supporting learning corresponding to a learner's state of mind. SOLUTION: The learning support system is equipped with a computer terminal 2 which a learner uses for learning and with a server 3. The computer terminal 2 and the server 3 are communicable via a network 4. By utilizing the computer terminal 2 and the server 3, the following is carried out. A data collection section 10 collects basic data concerning the learner's state of mind. A data interpretation section 20 obtains a mental model which can be handled by a computer utilizing interpretation rules stored in a framework 30 of the mental model and the basic data collected by the data collecting section 10. A support experience storing section 40 stores support experience corresponding to the predicted mental model. A support experience retrieval section 50 retrieves the support experience corresponding to the learner's mental model. A presentation section 60 presents learning information based on the retrieved support experience to the learner.</p> |
