SOLUTION: This forged or altered money use preventive device has a setting means 2 for setting a time zone few in a selling commodity, a timer means 6 for counting this time zone, a specific money kind selecting means 3 for selecting the possibility of receiving a specific money kind, money receiving means 4 and 5 for receiving money, and a sale control means 1 for controlling a sale of the commodity in response to the money received by these money receiving means. This sale control means 1 prohibits reception of the specific money kind selected by the specific money kind selecting means 3 when the timer means 6 counts the fact of becoming the time zone set by the setting means 2.
