PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always keep goods from being pressed with large pressure. SOLUTION: The goods in a goods passage are moved by a specified quantity toward a conveyance port by a forward feed belt conveyor 12 when conveying the goods. A holding plate 15 positioned behind the rearmost goods when packing the goods from the conveyance port 10 side to store the goods in the goods passage 9 prevents the backward fall of the goods by maintaining the horizontal position state without being rotated downward by the goods. The holding plate 15 not adjoining in the lateral direction of goods by the movement toward the conveyance port 10 by the forward feed belt conveyor 12, is returned into the horizontal position by an energizing means 17 due to the disappearance of goods that hinder the return into the horizontal position, so that the holding plate 15 behind the rearmost goods is successively returned into the horizontal position in accordance with the movement (decrease) of the goods in the goods passage 9 to prevent the backward fall of the goods.
