PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically transfer an image in a suitable configuration by automatically judging whether an image transferred site is an Internet facsimile terminal or a non-suitable computer terminal. SOLUTION: When transferring the image to a mail address for a terminal with unidentified model, a CPU 11 performs an Internet facsimile communication in full mode, and when a capacity is notified to the CPU 11, the notified capacity information is stored in an information storage part 14 in correspondence with the mail address.
